Welcome to Floating You! Before you embark on an exhilarating journey with us, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions carefully. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payment:
- To reserve your spot in our surf & yoga retreat, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
- Full payment must be made prior to the commencement of the retreat, unless otherwise specified.
- We accept payments through our secure online payment gateway.
2. Cancellations and Refunds:
- Cancellations made by participants are subject to our refund policy, which may vary based on the timing of cancellation and specific retreat terms:
70 days before Retreat start: Retreat costs besides deposit are paid back to the guest
69 - 49 days before Retreat starts: 60% of the Retreat costs besides deposit are paid back to the guest
49 - 29 days before Retreat starts: 40 % of the Retreat costs besides deposit are paid back to the guest
29 - 15 days before Retreat starts: 25 % of the Retreat costs besides deposit are paid back to the guest
from 15 days before the Retreat starts: 0 % of the Retreat costs are paid back to the guest
- In the event of cancellation by Floating You due to higher forces (such as natural catastrophe or global health security) participants will receive a full refund of all payments made.
- In the event of cancellation by Floating You due to logistical changes, Floating You ensures either a refund of all payments made or transferring the booking to another Retreat date, as long as the guests confirms this.
- In the event of cancellation by Floating You due to disruptive behaviour from guests:
We are committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for all our guests. However, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation at any time, with or without prior notice, if a guest's behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the well-being of the group. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Disrespectful Communication: Persistent or aggressive emails, messages, or other forms of communication that demonstrate a lack of respect for the retreat team, other participants and the mission of this retreat.
- Manipulative Behavior: Actions intended to manipulate, gaslight, or otherwise create a toxic atmosphere that detracts from the group's harmony.
- Indecisiveness and Unreliability: Constantly changing plans or making unreasonable demands that impact the smooth operation of the retreat.
If such behavior occurs:
- 6 weeks or more before the retreat start date: The guest will receive a 60% refund of the total retreat cost.
- Less than 6 weeks but 4 weeks or more before the retreat start date: 60% of the retreat cost will be withheld, and 40% will be refunded.
- Less than 4 weeks before the retreat start date: No refund will be issued.
This policy is in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants.
3. Participation and Conduct:
- Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the retreat.
- We reserve the right to terminate the participation of any individual whose behavior is deemed disruptive or harmful to others, without refund.
4. Health and Safety:
- Participants must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their participation in surf or yoga activities.
- We strive to provide a safe environment; however, participants engage in activities at their own risk.
- Participants shall have a valid health insurance
5. Changes to Itinerary:
- While we make every effort to adhere to the retreat itinerary, we reserve the right to modify activities, schedules, or accommodations due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.
6. Liability:
- Floating You, its affiliates, and partners shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delay arising from participation in our retreats.
- Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and travel arrangements.
7. Intellectual Property:
- All content, including but not limited to logos, images, and text, displayed on our website and materials, are the intellectual property of Floating You.
- Reproduction or distribution of any content without prior confirmation from Floating You is prohibited.
8. Privacy Policy:
- We respect the privacy of our participants and adhere to strict confidentiality standards. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
9. Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be resolved through arbitration.
